Draft — pre-launch
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 24, 2026
This draft explains, in plain language, what information Handy Me collects today and how it is used while the platform is in its pre-launch stage.
Information you give us
- Account details such as your name, email address and the role you choose (homeowner or contractor).
- Project details you enter, including descriptions, photos, ZIP code, budget range and timing.
- Home or vehicle details you choose to provide, and any documents you upload for verification.
- Contractor business details, services and service areas.
- Messages you send to Handy Me support.
How we use it
- To run your account and the features you use.
- To prepare planning ranges and, as marketplace features roll out, to match projects with contractors.
- To review verification requests you submit.
- To respond to support requests.
What contractors can see
Your street address is not shown to contractors until you choose to share it or schedule an on-site visit. Contractors see your ZIP code and general area. Uploaded ownership documents are never shown publicly.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not ask for Social Security numbers.
- Handy Me does not process card payments; payment records in the app are notes you and the other party keep.
Your choices
You can update your profile information in your account. To ask about your data or request account deletion, contact us through the Support page.
Changes
